Prevention of illness through ergonomics

Ergonomics means adapting tools and movements according to a person. It aims to improve the safety, health, and well-being of employees. Proper ergonomics helps to ensure smooth and efficient operation of work processes and activities, while at the same time improving the company’s productivity. The Occupational Health and Safety Act obliges the employer to ensure that the work equipment meets ergonomic requirements and to instruct the employee in ergonomically correct working positions and methods.
